What are Digestive Enzymes?
Digestive enzymes are proteins produced naturally in the body's digestive system to help us break down the food we eat into nutrients and energy. Production of these enzymes can decrease as we age, among other factors, which may lead to symptoms such as bloating, flatulence and digestive discomfort.
